Q. Describe the evoluation of operation system ?

 Ans :- The evoluation of operating system went throuhg 4 generation .

 First generation (1945-1955)

 A Large machine which is handle by humans. 

This is the beginning of operating system era . 

 In this operating system only electronics machine can perform work help of human and worker . 

In starting days of computer 🖥️ Os are not used.

 2nd generation :-(1955-1965) 

In second generation operating system batch system operating system working .

  meaning of batch sysytem is similar task.

 those days job control language was used to creat instructions to execute the job .

 This system create a name of multitasking . Help of this system its posible to excute multiple job on a singe machine. 

 3rd generation (1965-80) 

 Third generation rise the multiprogramming operating system.

 Its similar to the 2nd generation operating system . user can perform their tasks 

 through an online terminal . 

This generation using various algorithms such as FCFS ,LGF etc . Example multiprograming operating system.

 4th generation 

1980 generation and operating system generation . 

Fourth generation use various networking protocol and computer network . 

The operatinng system in this generation saw the use of gui ( graphical user interface) exampe time shared operating system.
